This Refund Policy describes the terms under which Vessara LLC ("Vessara," "we," "us," or "our") issues refunds for credit purchases made through our website at vessara.co and any related services, APIs, or applications (collectively, the "Service").
By purchasing credits, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
1. Credit Purchases
Vessara operates on a pay-as-you-go model. You purchase credits in advance, which are consumed as you use the Service. Credits are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available only for unused credits. A credit is considered "unused" if it has not been applied to any image processing operation or API call.
2.1 Eligible for Refund
- Credits that have not been used for any processing operations
- Accidental or duplicate purchases reported within 14 days of the transaction
- Service outages lasting more than 72 consecutive hours that prevented you from using purchased credits
2.2 Not Eligible for Refund
- Credits that have already been used, in whole or in part
- Bonus credits received as part of a top-up promotion
- Credits purchased more than 30 days ago, unless unused and explicitly requested
- Free credits provided under the free tier
- Dissatisfaction with processing results (we encourage you to test with free credits before purchasing)
3. How to Request a Refund

Your refund request must include:
- The email address associated with your account
- The date and amount of the purchase
- The reason for your refund request
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
4. Partial Refunds
If you have used a portion of your purchased credits, you may be eligible for a partial refund covering only the unused credits. The refund amount will be calculated based on the original credit price at the time of purchase, excluding any bonus credits.
Example: If you purchased 100 credits and used 40, you may be eligible for a refund on the remaining 60 unused credits at their original purchase price.
5. Refund Method
All approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We do not issue refunds in cash, store credit, or alternative payment methods.
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us directly at [email protected] to resolve any billing concerns before filing a dispute.
7. Account Termination
If you choose to delete your account, any remaining unused credits will be forfeited. We recommend requesting a refund for unused credits before closing your account.
8. Exceptions
Vessara reserves the right to grant refunds outside the scope of this policy at its sole discretion, on a case-by-case basis. This includes, but is not limited to, situations involving billing errors, technical failures, or other exceptional circumstances.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
